I agree, but you'd think that by the time the CAPS program was initiated for the '91 models - particularly with a different transmission model) that they'd have noticed the problem - same boo-boo is in the '91 CAPS info.
I've just returned from the distributor with an o-ring to fit, so I'm going to continue the rebuild. With the factory info error identified, the odds now favor my not having made the wrong o-ring selection as the reason that one is missing.
