The distributor said I could come down and go through the individual o-rings and hopefully match one up, but I'd like Kevin or Matt to look at the prior post and see if they agree with my sleuthing conclusion before I make a final decision.... right now I'm leaning toward my explanation and considering just picking up that missing o-ring and keep going.
If you think the thread's fascinating, you ought to rebuild one of these... quite a neat piece of machinery!
