The brake apply tube has been lightly lubed (probably unnecessary) and installed in the case. Note that the 4 locking tabs on the bottom fit over the case lip and the side tab fits into a groove between the 2 longitudinal case ribs nearest the bottom right 5:00/5:30 clock position as viewed from the front of the case in the upright position with the pan flange nearest you:
Here's the view from the bottom, showing the position of the tube drain slot referenced against the case:
