It depends on where peak torque is made. I think that for street use stall speed is usually 500-700rpms below peak torque rpms. Dragsters are built for high rpm launch and need the higher stall speed to get the engine in the power band before launch, but I don't think many unmodified street driven cars or trucks can benefit from much change above the OE standard spec.... likely some will be hurt by it. Many 4 cyl engines are high revvers - depends on the stroke length and cam profile, but I'm not familiar enough with the 2.6L (if that's what you're referring to) to even know the bore/stroke or where it makes peak torque. Kevin and Eddy should know the answer - at least wrt the 2.6L.
