I'll agree with Steve.

When I did my rebuild, I also swapped in a post-93 MAF and TB and I used a '95 head, with the block bored .040 over and I am running the Delta cam. All said and done, the CR went up to 9.3:1 and it is a blast to drive. I did swap in 5.38's and 35's at the time of the rebuild, so it is hard to give a good comparison to before after. But, it drives better than it did with the original configuration (with the Delta ) 2.6 with 4.30's and 31's.

I have to also mention that I have to run 92 octane gas because it pings, but...

In the end, I would do it again. The engine turned out great and it pushes the big tires just fine. Cost for me came in around $1500 with the new parts (head, MAF, TB, radiator ect).
