Any electronics store should carry those , such as a radio shack and stuff.They almost look like speaker connection type plugs.I'll be ordering the cable my next payday
I do believe my palm uses a USB from the computer , then its almost like a firewire port on the palm pilot as its very tiny.I was thinking more along the lines oif just hooking the palm up sometimes so I don't have to lug the laptop around if I want a quick diagnostic.Maybe if I can find a USB to serial adapater if there is such a thing.
There are USB to serial adapters, but the Palm isn't a USB host, it's a USB device (IIRC). So that won't help you. Even if it would, the only ALDL software I've seen for Palms uses a proprietary interface. I have a Dell Axim X50 PocketPC. I could get a CF serial card for it but they're expensive. So for now it's the laptop for diagnostics.
