I'm still looking at the so called simple plug that goes to the ALDL Gimme easy stuff like wiring in a car stereo , rewiring a house , stuff like that and its a no brainer. But when you start talking more applied electronics , even basic stuff , I have to scratch my head for a bit.Ok , the parts are easy enough to get at the local radio shack , the solder gun is easy , but the hard part is following the diagrams to make the circuits , when you have no small electronics know how Hooking up the laptop to the cable and installing the software , thats easy enough to do too Is there a webpage with the same info in a for dummies format? I'd love to have something hooked up that monitors pretty much everything that goes on under the hood , but of course they don't make them for the older cars , mainly for the ODBII stuff. Gee , not even done my first project , and ready to jump into another one
