WooHoo! Good news, new plugs and plug wires fixed the engine miss.
There was a nice carbon track up the side of the #4 cylinder plug wire "tube". The plugs were old but intact, so I think the wires were the culprit. They looked original...a dozen years is plenty out of the stock wires.
Whew, she seems to be in good shape, so now I can concentrate on fixing her up, rather than repairs.
