Yeah that's where the off-road carb comes in. And hopefully it does as well as advertised If not I guess I may be in the market for the holley projection.




Talk to Matt about them before you buy, he has some interesting info on them. I believe he decided to go with an OEM style carb.

If you want an inexepensive 302 find a wrecked out T-Bird or Mercury Cougar say from 92 or so. My friend Bill just did this swap in his 85 Toyota and he found the donor car for $500, on Craigs List of course. He stayed with the EFI and it turned out he only needed to use like 6 wires to make it work. The key is wiring diagrams, find a website that has 'em and bookmark it.

Oh yeah, he runs 70mph at 2000 rpm's. Not bad for a 'Yota with 6" of lift on 33x12.5 bfg mt's with stock 4.10 gears, and he still gets 15 mpg.
