H'mm on the tach.

On the hazards/turn signals, I'd take the hazard switch apart and clean the contacts. All of the turn signal wiring goes thru the hazard switch, and there's a sliding plate contact set inside that gets enough oxidation to mayke fitful or no contacts. Carefully pop the switch out of the front of the dash with a trim stick or similar. unplug the switch from the harness. Carefully pry the "outies" out of the slots in the sides of the rear of the switch (4 places) and let the guts slide out to the rear, holding switch with toggle down. There's a spring and stuff inside, so be careful and note how it comes out. You should now have the slider and contact plate exposed - clean them with a rubber pencil eraser and contact cleaner to shiny, coat with dialectric grease (I cheated and used silicone grease), and re-assemble, reconnect, and test it before you pop it back in.

I've looked at the circuit and harness diagrams for an 89 3.0. You should see a tach signal at the b67 connector (an 8 wire rect located at the front pass. side of engine compartment) on a .85WL/B wire (white with blue and black stripe) and at the coil connector on a .85 WL (white with blue stripe) wire. This is the coil - connection to tach. Ground for this circuit is on the inner fender wall beside the battery.

Power transistor switching is by the ECU based on signals from the crank position sensor and TDC sensor in the dizzy.
