Re: The Skinny on the 3.4L motor swap.....WARNING...this is very long.

OK, this is getting weird. First before I read this thread I thought my 3.4L oil pressure sender was bad so I got a new one from toyota. I did not put it in when I found out from another guy who did the swap that his gauge didnt work either so I did not want to waste my time until I figured out what was wrong. So now that I read this thread I went to toyota today to get a 3.0L sender, because I wanted to keep my 3.0L complete, fix and then sell it. When the toyota guy handed me the 3.0L sender I imediately noticed that the one he handed me was a one wire sender and the 3.4L sender that I swaped with him was a 2 wire sender. So I figured that I would go home and look at my 3.0L to help me figure out how to wire this sender. When I got home and looked at my 3.0L I noticed that the supposedly 3.0L sender that I got from toyota was different from the one on my 3.0L.
So what the heck do I do?
bwhitehead and COrunner93, do you know what the part number is for the sender you used?
Thanks!
