Why don't you ask someone who knows more about Isuzu's that anyone. Send Jerry Lemond at jlemond@bellsouth.net a note.
He's a factory Isuzu guy who has been working with Isuzu's since they came to this country in '81. I'm sure he'll be able to tell you if that is a fact or fiction and give you advice on how to keep things right as you get it back together.
