My name is Jimmy and I’m 24.
Lived in northern Virginia my whole life, minus 4 years at WVU studying Forestry and Communications.
Work for a non-profit environmental education and conservation org. in Washington, DC.
Getting ready to shift gears in a few weeks to auto sales (for Toyota hopefully) followed by Firefighter/EMT once I finish the application process and they decide to hire me.
Always been in a “serious” relationship. Been with my current gf for 2 years and am thinking this is the one that’ll see me get old. We’ve got 8 fish and are looking for a kitten. She doesn’t understand my wrenching passion and therefore we bumps heads about it often .

I’ve “owned” 7 autos:
84 Nissan kingcab 2wd – loved it so much, lots and lots of firsts in that, rusted away (had 4 yrs)
95 T100 – nice truck, too big for what I needed (had 1 yr)
02 Subaru Outback Sport – thought I needed a car to work in DC, hated every aspect of it, was a POS (waited 6 months for it to be built special order, got rid of it after driving it for 4 months)
01 Tacoma S-Runner – super fun sport truck, became an obsession and I dumped tons of time and money into it, got rid of it to keep my sanity (had 1 yr)
03 Tacoma 4wd – great all around truck, got a base model 4cyl, ext cab so that I wouldn’t worship it like I did the S-Runner. Lifted it, nice wheels and tires, sliders, etc. = lots of time and money dumped into it again. Started wheeling it and realized I didn’t want to be tearing up a truck with only 3k miles.
85 4Runner – bought to refurbish and wheel
86 4Runner – bought to keep my 85 running

I’ve got a good life, great friends, and a loving family . I see life very cut and dry, I’m a rational person in all ways possible, unless it involves a PITA wrenching experience or stupid drivers. I’m a people person......unless it involves stupid drivers . If I can fix things myself, I generally give it a shot…..then sometimes the pros get to fix it for me .

I have found this site to be one of the most friendly and informative out there. Thanks .
