Well, what the hell, I'll jump on in as well.

My name is Mike and I've been involved in aerospace and motorsports for about as long as I can remember. I'm 39 and I'm acting 15, looking 97. I have a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from ASU and I currently design new replacement components for the aviation industry. I also manage the operations of the company and have my own engineering business on the side. I finally married my partner of 13 years last January and she is the logical calming side of the relationship. My son from a previous marriage is a Freshman at UTEP and my step daughter graduated from ASU this past May.

My first Toyota was an '89 X-tra cab 3.slow, 5spd. It had a t-bar crank, Rauncho AAL, Billies, 32's and locked front and rear. That was a very cool truck. I fell into the wife trap of "we need a people hauler" and bought a '98 4Runner new off the lot and promptly took it to the tire store for real tires. The 4Runner has become a full functioning mall crawler since then. In a past life I've owned everything but a Chrysler product in 4X's and have been a drag racer since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I've been fortunate enough to have a gearhead for a dad and raced straightline bikes, bracket cars and his alcohol cars in the past. We are currently working on a '64 Fairlane to go race NMCA together.

Finally, I've been here at 4X4Wire for about a year now and at one point Joe and the others recognized that I like to talk a lot (I mean a lot

) and asked me to come aboard to moderate the Toy Chat forum. In a moment of completely drunken

weakness, I caved. Then it was the Toy SUV forum. Again, caught me on a half bottle and I did it. I don't get over to this forum as much as I like, but I can say that this is a great group of wheelers and the door is always open in Phoenix for those who pop in.
