First dent, no. But my skidplates are generally scratched, gouged and have a few dings rather than getting flat out bashed up as it sounds like yours are. I've never been the type to accept that kind of pounding in my offroading, and prefer the odd glancing blow to this type of hit.

As I recall, you came up with an excellent 100 amp switch. I was kinda bummed at the price, and also am now remembering that having a switch like this was a liability worry if I ever got in an accident and this was discovered by my insurance company or the other person's. Someone also suggested using a light switch to break the connection on an ABS sensor, which shuts down the system and lights the ABS light. Also a good one, but automobile-molesting liability is a big issue with me due to my occupation.

The air bag has been replaced, but the heat solution will wait for spring as I take my time trying to find something that works. I don't tow in the winter, other than the odd utility trailer.
