Carb options?
      08/18/12 10:26 PM

I started tearing into my "fleet" of Raiders today to rummage up enough good parts to breathe life back into a 88' Montero 2 door I just picked up. Out of 4 donors, I found that two have oddball carbs, with seemingly homemade spacers. One is a holley 1 bbl, based on the numbers it's from a Ford or amc straight 6, mid 70's to early 80's - didn't find a cfm rating. The other is a Holley 2bbl. Based on the numbers it appears to be an oe ford 350 cfm 2bbl from a early-mid 70's 302. I haven't actually run either, but both were said by P.O. to run way better than the original ever did. The 2bbl was supposedly a significant HP improvement also... Just wondering if anyone has heard of these type of setups?
