Yeah quite a few of my friends wheel cherokees and they are pretty capable, i posted the above more in response to the IFS post. The newer Cherokee with IFS was a good move for the truck in my opinion because those older models didn't have the torsional rigidity to hold together with solid axles at both ends. I have repaired my fair share of cherokee unibodies. (If anyone would like to challenge this flex the cherokee out to the max (no sway bars) and open all of it's doors, report findings back here).
The only thing i really dislike about the vehicle is the hype surrounding it, if you read Petersons4wheeldrive or the other affiliated mags you know what i mean.

I really wasn't trying to start a jeep vs whatever thing argument again. Been there done that rode the ban'd bus home
