I found a good deal on a set of Toyo tires, and the guy only wanted 40 bucks more if I took the rims. All he knew was that they were from a GMC 4x4 truck. I stuck one on the front of my '95, and they seem to fit. Are these things safe to run?
I bought a set of GenII SR wheels from Brandon a few years ago for my GenII LS, and I know he said those wheels used different lugs nuts than the wheels that came stock on my LS, even though the wheels are very similiar. So even if these GMC wheels can be run, which nuts should I use? Thanks guys. I hate messing with this, but I was able to get all four tires for less than 2 new ones, and money is pretty tight these days. If I can't/shouldn't use these wheels, I'm going to have the tires mounted on the SR wheels, and try to sell the GMC wheels on Craigslist.
Thanks in advance for the advice guys.
Keith
