Had the wife squeez the bulb while I had end of the fuel line in a gatorade bottle. There were some bubbles in there more at first then less as we pumped more fuel..I was able to prime from the port side tank this time. With the cover off motor looking at the small white filter, I can see air in it, about 1/4 of it full of air, and you can see how if you were to tilt it back (Like when the front of the boat goes up) that air would be sucked into the supply line to the VRO. There should be close to 0 air in this filter right? Took the boat back out just to see if it would work with the port tank (trying to see if the problem was just with the starboard side tank) Still same. I can get it up on plane then back trottle off to about 3K RPM and it will cruise fine, but if I get into it the low fuel alam will go off and I'll have to go back and prime the bulb.
So I'll start with the lines, and the small filter in the engine. probably replace the fuel water separator even though its new.. and go from there.
Also found one of the circuit breakers to my trolling motor was stuck in the open position was going on 12V instead of 24..fixed that and now I can leave a wake behind the boat with the TM..
