Sounds like fun, Justice! You'll have to post a pic of your rig, all loaded up for fishin!

I found the shorty was a little choppy in the wind but otherwise towed very well. I also found that braking was a little better with the LWB, even though it was heavier. It seemed to stay more in a straight line... I'm talking about sudden stops, of which I've only had to make a few with trailer behind me, thank God! Normal stop and go was pretty much the same, SWB/LWB.

I would recommend airbags in the coils though, whichever way you go. Being able to level the rig after you drop weight on the tongue really helped with stability, for me anyway.
