i had mine apart. It was in when i took it out, I was able to pull it out simply by sticking my little finger in it and sliding it out. It is a new oil pump from my rebuild, And has a year warranty. but after having my old one apart i am wondering if i should go back to the old tried and tested one. from what i see there is nothing wrong with the old one. and after having the front cover off and starting the motor to see where the oil is coming from it appears to be coming out of the relief hole in the tensioner. for timing chain.
