My experience is that if it's pulling left, the right caliper is the sticker. It's the slide pins, usually. The repair is to remove the lower slide pin/bolt and sand it smooth, then lube with hitemp silicone brake grease and replace the seal rings. The upper slide pin stays on the spindle half of the caliper, and is most prone to corrosion. I sand it clean and fill the "cup" on the caliper with grease. The cup has a hole in the end to keep trapped air from interferring with caliper slide, and it allows water to get in the slide pin tube, filling the tube with grease keeps the water away from the pin. Also lube all caliper friction surfaces with a smear of grease, making sure you get none on the pads - a light smear - excess will find the pads...

I've never upgraded my brakes. I just go ahead and hit them. Monties are tough...
