I can say that the Gen II's are longer. When I did mine, I used the same shims and the top of the tire was way out even after cranking up the torsion up some. What are you getting told for a set of poly's? I paid $72+ frt for the set of poly's for mine.
I still have my Gen I arms if you want them. I don't have the shafts in them though but the ball joints are still good and they are top line NAPA ones. Let me know. Just pay for the shipping.
EDIT: I just looked thru the NAPA records at work and I did not buy Ball joints for that truck. I've never changed them, just kept them greased up and I know they are still good. So your call if your want them.
