Whatever brand and model of pump you choose, make sure its not a turbine type. My experiance has been that those types of pumps dont do as well when they are mounted away from and above the fuel level.

Issues include, poor self priming and more noise. The stock pump used rollers and pulls a lot better.

I replaced my stock pump with a Bosch unit... I hate it. As soon as a get my new shop finished, replacing it is my first project.

I mounted my pump to the rear cargo area using the Starion factory noise isolator. Very quite using the stock pump.
