Fuel Pump Setup for 2.6 FI Conversion

Just checking to see what a few of you FI/Turbo guys did to install a fuel pump capable of FI pressure/volume. I was going to mount my FP to the rear frame rail as close to the tank as possible and replace the feed line from the tank with a high strength hose (teflon lined, etc.) to prevent collapse when the electric pump starts sucking away and then hardline the high pressure side to the engine bay. Other options you guys have done??? It'll be MPI and turbo by the time I'm done so it'll be a fairly potent pump like a Walbro 255lph and I have concerns about collapsing that feed line to the pump.
