Might need some lower CR pistons and an intercooler, but it would scoot. The torque with the a/t will put the 4m40 to shame, I bet. And the WHeeeeee sound is priceless. The turbo sounds good, too...

Sorry, I was talking 2.3 (4D55) vs the 2.8 (4M40) I'm getting into the diesel world now . I forgot they also call the gas 2.4 with 2.0 head a 2.3, but yeah those engines produce some serious power.
