Advantages.
#1 Cheap
#2 Effective

Disadvantages
#1 In ability to turn while locked
#2 Having to get in and out of the vehicle to lock and unlock a hub to turn.


I twisted off a CV axle stub with my truck. 4.3, Super Swampers, and bouncing it. Axle SHAFT broke before the differential did.

I welded my spider gears to themselves. I have done a detailed write up before. I will go dig.
