Thank you for all of the great information and help guys. Very much appreciated.

I've ordered two Lisle cam gear locking tools to help with keeping the cams where they are supposed to be. Found them for a great price on Amazon, and since I plan on keeping the Montero for a long time, it will be something I need in the future for the next timing belt work. They should be here Thursday. While I'm waiting on that, I'm going to replace the starter to battery cable and get the starter tested. There is some odd almost concrete like substance all over the underside of this truck, and the starter is caked in it, so I need to chip my way in.

Probably paint the battery tray and while the radiator is out, get it rodded somewhere. Anyone local have a reputable shop to recommend? I want to make sure it's up to the task for this summer.

Also going to order the updated crank bolt and and any other parts I need tomorrow. Downloaded the ASA program and been toying around with it. Very useful. Will update the results of the oil test tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
