I know the alternator output increases with the rpm. Is the power output increase a flat line as the rpm goes up or does it flatten out past a certain rpm?
Example: If the alternator is designed to provide a max output of 110amps when the engine's at 2000 rpm then realistically the smallest pulley we should be looking for will be 1/3 the diameter of the stock pulley.
On the other hand, if my supposition is wrong, disregard this post...
