Mount to tank is different. 4cyl mounts to front top corner of tank, to a surface approx. 45* to the vertical, and is removable from underneath. 6cyl mounts to top of tank. Geometry of the sender swing arm will be different. Some modifications must be made to pickup tube to extend it past pump location. May be doable, and if cheap, maybe worth trying as long as you can't find the right one.

Might be easier to repair yours...
