Yesterday: I went by the shop to see what Ron and John got done. The engine was in and hoist was away.
Here are a few shots of the clearance within the bay. The rear has LOTS of room with great access to normally hard to reach items for maintenance. The front is set up PERFECTLY for the custom radiator and shroud that Ron is making. The driver's side is the only potential tight spot with the exhaust clearance very tight. Ron assures me, however, that his exhaust guy has a lot of experience overcoming these issues.
Next are a couple of pics of the twin stick kit installed. The shifters still need to be formed, installed and welded, but the kit is pretty cool.

This last pic is a radiator similar to the one that will be built for mine. The one in the picture is for an FJ40, and mine will be 3" wider to maximize surface area in the available space.
