FINALLY, a little progress. I got the 2F out of the way today. The engine bay is pretty clean for an 87, but I'm going to get the unnecessary wiring stripped out and steam clean it and the undercarriage. It looks like the t-case will have to be split so the tail housing can be machined for a custom reluctor ring that needs to be added so the Vortec emissions system will function properly. Since the transmission is coming out, I'm thinking heavily about taking the plunge and adding an H55 gear box to the build. $2000, but WELL worth it for a 5 speed, I think. Thoughts?
