Igniter is similar to the coil...you should find the igniter if you follow the coil lead from the distributer cap. The unit will say igniter on it.

As long as you hit the EGR bolts/nuts/fasteners with some penetrating oil...it should be fine. I use Kroil oil as well as PB Blaster.

If these are the only things that are going wrong...I'd keep it. Let us know what you do.
