buyn a broke engine

heres the 411 , C/L guy posted up 2000 montero engine , bad bottom end from wat i can tell, he claims its a 3.0l selling it 50bucks.............. will it hook up to my gen1 and is it worth it . i've been wanting to rebuild an engine and it might be perfect for my raider supercharger project as long as it hooks up to my tranny, plz load me with info. im going to look at it tomorrow. and if someone dosnt mind, maybe i could call u when i get the engine infront of me. thanks!
