Speaking of automatic transmissions, I don't know if this is relevant to the Gen 1 or anything else we drive ...

I spoke to a couple shops and did a little poking around - it would probably be a good idea to check on whether the 2WD/4WD, HI/LO switch(s) need to be wired in. AFAIKT, they affect nothing on the manual vehicles but a couple guys thought that they affected something(s) on the autos. I know for sure that some Chevy, Ford and Chryslers are that way. Anyway, never followed up since I don't own any automatics.

I mention this for anyone thinking of an Atlas 'cause I THINK that you have to order that feature specifically.

There are a BUNCH of places that sell or will build adapters for machanical speedos. Seen a few in the last couple months.
