Nathan C bolted one(NP231) to a gen 1 V6 Auto (out of the truck) and posted pics, just for $hits and giggles and it fit. These results were posted years ago, but no ones followed up on it since. I dont belive driveshaft length will be a problem with a single case since its no longer than a mitsu case. SYE kits are cheap, if you put that kit on, you would have longer than stock shaft..
I dont think the SYE would be essential but nice to have and relatively cheap to do.
Also yes, a 23 spline atlas should work, we just need someone to pony up for one and give it a shot. Pull the trigger and let us know.
