Thanks for the offer on the motor mounts, but I don't think I want to fight the relocated engine's proximity to the radiator when it comes to replacing the timing and balance shaft belts.... not to mention the other problems incurred in the shift.
I've found a 4G63 non-turbo Galant 2.0L non-jet valve head that seems to make more sense than welding the jet valve head. This head has roller rockers and OE cam. I guess I can swap in the truck cam and slipper rockers.... I'll find out when I pull the Galant head. Questions:
1) Does anyone know the cam specs on the '88-'92 Galant 4G63 and the G63B truck engine?
2) Does anyone know the compression ration of the same two engines?
I know the bore/stroke is slightly different between the 2 engines.
