Take a look at this offering - 12v pistons described as an 8v set:
I need to take another look at the exhaust port layout on the G63B and see if they are laid out in alternating fashion relative to the intake ports. I'll bet they are... and that would explain the 3 valve relief cuts - so the same piston can be used in any cylinder.
