The .004" warp was gauged by eye..... my feeler gauge indicates .005", so I guess I need to recalibrate my eyes. 
I probably shouldn't have the machine shop cut it like that - might screw up the cam alignment - but if you think it'll flatten out at 80 lb-ft, maybe it'll be ok if I sand it a little:
If I get good cylinder pressure, I'll take it back off, weld the jet valve passages, check for further warp, replace the valve stem seals, maybe dress the valves and install it.... might be ok as a N/A if I don't get carried away with spark lead.
