It'll clean up, but I'm more concerned with the warp on a test gasket before milling - not bad enough to throw away the head, though. I think if I clean the deck threads and check bolt length to make sure I get a good clamp, with some sealant and a fresh gasket I should be able to check the ring seal before spending a lot on the head.
No, I haven't put penetrating oil around the pistons yet. I'll probably go back to the yard and do that tomorrow and clean the deck threads.
Time's a little limited - I'm opening the yard on Monday.
