Yes, it would. My first thought was to put a 3.0L in it with ECU and harness - if it'll mate to the M/T, but then those turbo thoughts crept in. 
I don't yet know what I'll do with it, but if I decide to go turbo, I'll need some help from you folks who know what will swap in. I don't want to spend a fortune on it.... just want something to drive back and forth to work that I can carry "stuff" in the back.
