85, 93, et. al. Toy FSM's ~Reviewed 01/01/2008~

Reviewed and cleaned up; dead links culled.

If you need non-Taco part numbers, please see our part number sticky. If you need Taco part numbers, go to the Tacoma section. There is also an FSM sticky there for 1995+ vehicles.

READERS- if you have any additional information or corrections, PM kewlynx, and amendments will be made, rather than having several entries for people to wade through.

NOTES:
If you have a pre-84 vehicle with an external voltage regulator, the ignition/charging section will not work for you. If you have an ’85 vehicle, make note as to whether you are carbed or EFI, as the ignition systems are not the same.
Accurate links for pre-84 charging/ignition systems would be appreciated; pls PM kewlynx.

For 1993 This should take care of most 3rd gen, NON-TACO trucks 88 thru 94.5 with the 22RE and the 3.sl0w.

1993 FSM Enjoy while still hosted!!

tkrispin's notes:
Looks like the Steering section is missing pages 38 and 39;
the transmission section is missing mt1-77;
and the suspension and axle section is missing pages 36 - 39.

1985 FSM - READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING ***FIRST***

This FSM works for the stock solid front axle trucks, ’84-'85.

Contributed by 4WD22R:

Regarding the FSM, WARNING : Do not try and open this file over the Internet no matter HOW fast your connection is; Adobe WILL lock up. This document is 1025 pages long, and 57.58 MB!
Tech note from lscotte: Firefox users may not need this download tool. Right click>save link as...

Download AmazingDown 1.62 first.
Then in that program press the "New" button on the tool bar and copy and paste the URL below into the corresponding dialogue box and click download. This will greatly speed up the process of downloading such a big file from a server that isn't quite the fastest out there. Once the file is downloaded you can open it from your hard drive. (folder entitled ‘downloaded’)

The 1985 FSM linky to copy/paste into the url block in the dialogue box:

4cy gear driven transfer case section (right click, save as)...
1985 chassis dimension diagram (right click, save as)...

Other Resources aside from auction sites, etc.

Autozone for all makes.
