So, I'm getting ready to move to Japan for a while and I come across this . What do I do? Send him an email asking his bottom dollar and that he call me. He calls me and says he liked my email and the idea that an "enthusiast: (read:idiot) wanted his truck and had plans for it. He then proceeds to tell me that all he's had is low ball offers for $500 and would be happy to sell it to me, since I'd make good use of it, for the same $500.
I CANNOT believe I'm actually contemplating buying and storing this thing until I get back from Japan. I don't think I'll be able to pass this one up...
On another note, the oil leak is on the front side and only comes after running for 30 minutes or more. I'm thinking front main and timing belt are in order. Any other thoughts? I only have 4 weeks left here in San Diego and want something besides the motorcycle to drive to work.

If you don't buy it let us know. I'd even buy it and haul it back up here on a flatbed trailer with no second gear in my truck just to get the goodies off of it for only $500.

OK, OK, I'm going to go see it tomorrow, I think. I'll bring some cash with me and probably take it off his hands. I really want the stuff off of it more than anything, but the 4 door would be great for camping and what not.
LRJ, I'm trying to get into NPS there in Monterey when I get back. Will you still be around? I should start their MBA program in ~2 years.
Chris, how far are you from San Diego? If you are serious, that is...
