2003 Montero lift kit?
      #950307 - 12/17/06 11:46 PM

Other then the OME 2", coils and shocks, is there anything else to lift my 2003 Montero LTD. (no sport) What tire size can i expect to be able to fit? with those fender flares i doubt i can put much bigger.

Also can any guru out there tell me if i have solid lock or limited slip in the rear? I doubt i have anykind of lock in the front, maybe limited? My Montero is Canadien.

I had 285/75-16's on mine with the stock setup only had a little rubbing. I would think you could fit a little bigger, maybe.

Nice to have more Gen 3s on board. I've got 285s with no lift on stock wheels. As far as rear you don't have either one just plain open diff but good traction control system.

Me too, I got the best of both worlds, 88 GEN I and 2001 GEN III. As far as modifying the GEN III I don't think that my wife will like that.

Don't ask - just do it.

I upgraded the speakers in my wife's Odyssey unbeknownst to her. She kept wondering why the stereo sounded so much better. I bit my lip and kept driving...

I have the OME lift on mine. The HD all around and I really like it. Does much better offroad with the springs and handles towing loads better too...no rear end sag.

So the KYB's are dampening the heavier springs ok then? I just got a set of the Ironman springs myself and have been wondering what to do about sruts/shocks.

I would love to see pics of yours with the lift.

Thanks,

Lygriek
