yesterday i changed the oil in my 2.6, i also moved the computer to the gove box, and hosed out the engine. i didn't really hose the engine its self that bad but tried to stay away from the electircal and other components that matter. i was driving it around when i take off the engine would sputter extremely bad. to the point of stalling. sometimes when i got going, if i applied any sort of accelleration it would sputter and not go faster. i figured i was extremely low on gas, although the light wasn't on thats what i came to. so i added 8 gal of gas and its doing the same thing. once i put it back in nutral it will idle normally. i'm going to let it dry out today and see what happens. any suggetions would be helpful.

Sounds like an ignition problem. With water flying around in there, its hard to say what may have gotten wet, but I would start checking out things like the plug wires, coil, cap/rotor, etc. I would assume you aren't getting any warning lights that would allow you to pull codes?

sounds like it's missing. Check your plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. It is possible that you got some water in behind the cap seal...it might need to be dried out.
