I'm going to swap vented 81+ Land Cruiser rotors on my solid axle and use my V6 IFS calipers. When it comes to brakes, I've been told OEM Toyota pads and rotors are the best. I got a quote on rotors and they are $71.70 each, and pads are $33.76 each. Is that a good price? Is it worth it? What other alternatives do I have? Or should I just stick with the Toys?

FWIW, I've never had a problem with aftermarket stuff. A lot less $ too.

I think that might be $33.75 for a box of four pads. Price on rotors sounds right

Boneyard rotors. Muuuuuuuch cheaper. $20-30 each.

I don't want to take chances on boneyard rotors. The rotors on my rig are majorly warped and I don't want to get some that are like mine. I think Napa has some but they are $59. I might as well spend the extra couple of bucks and get the OEM Toys.

Not much chance on boneyard LC rotors. If you must, get them turned. Worked for me. If its a reputable yard they will back them.

I'm using my calipers, but my rotors are warped.
