Why did he stop welding the ring? You would think if it worked so well before you wouldnt change anything.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he's using a thicker bell, and in turn using a smaller cage, but I guess that doesn't matter it's suppose to be stronger. I think All Pro's new birfield is a similier design.

I just bought Longs a few months ago, but I must have gotten the last of the old design. But I'm not that worried about it.

With the ring, you can't dissassemble the joints and clean them and repack them as well. Personally, I don't understand why they don't just weld the ring on there anyway and make it that much stronger.

yeah but without the ring on there, that helps it being able to turn so far

i believe the old style could turn to like 23* or 24* and the new style can turn up to 45* but the balls would be outta the bell.but it can actually go up to 35* without the balls showing

mine are sitting right here and they look nice

Yea I got new ones. From the looks of them, here is what I see. Thicker cage, smaller balls, smaller cross to make it all fit. But I don't have one next to it to compare.

Both are stamped LF, I'm guessing that means LongField. So people don't try to send him back anyone elses.
I am suprised nobody bit on to the Left Front comment.
