Won't that lift work on the Monty Sport? They basically share the same underpinnings.

I finally go a e-mail back from Ultimate Suspension . Here it is:

Hi Steve,

The kit designed for Strada is only available from Thailand. Please note, designed for right hand drive, not left as in US.

The kit has not been fitted to Montero/Challenger, so details not available.

The Ultimate Suspension has available for Montero/Challenger, replacement torsion bars, leaf springs for early model and coils for later models. The Ultimate Suspension manufacture its own mono tube gas shockabsorbers (TUS) and is available for both models.

The cost of freight varies, sea or air.

Due to dangerous goods classifications, sea freight is most practical - approx. 5 weeks freight time and approx. $200.00 US.

Product costs - Torsion Bars $249.50 US pair
Leaf Springs $144.00 US pair
or Coils $120.00 US pair
TUS mono tube shockabsorbers $200.00 US pair

The combination of Torsion Bars, springs and shockabsorbers provide a 50mm (2\") lift with increased comfort, performance and stability, as well as improved off road articulation.

Please feel free to contact me for further details.

Best regards,

KEN O'KEEFE

Steve

All the setup for the front drop kit is there.. You may have to redo some of the mounts but everything is already setup..

So these guys are relocating the front axle?? And using some sort of drop spindle or different upper a arms? Right or left hand drive shouldn't matter too much for those items. We might be able to adapt this to our US trucks and Gen I monteros. Do they have a website?

It's the only one I can find.
www.ultimate-accessories.com

I have seen one other web site on this but I can't find it. [Mad] I think it is the Thailand one.
