The pre-mid '86 models are stripped as compared to later models. There were some that had vinyl seats, optional rear seat, much less plastic trim = exposed, painted metal, low center tray instead of center console, and a slightly different radio console.
Otherwise, there have been no vinyl floor models that I've run across.

For information purposes only, www.accmats.com can do factory fit vinyl in black or brown. $400 bucks though. Though the 4doors option says this: 1990 MITSUBISHI MONTERO 2 DOOR CARPET COMPLETE SET (1PC PASSENGER AREA WITH BACK PANEL AND WHEEL WELLS). So I guess it needs to be called on to see what it comes with the for the 4 door.
