Most of those will not make it to the places I like. With my 4X8 utility trailer behind my Raider I can go places they could only walk to. I would like a 360 hitch though.

#15... I've thought (as in day dreaming) about a 4x4 Fuso with a Hi-Lo mounted to the back. Not for tight trails, as Bernoulli points out, but it would be a cool long-haul overlander.

Speaking of Bern, what do you do with your 4x8 trailer? Do you have it rigged for camping, or just use it to haul and maybe sleep on the deck?

I had it built for camping. I have a custom 75 gallon fuel tank over the axle. I have electric brakes (to keep it behind me if I get into trouble on a dirt road) I carry two large propane cylinders on the front and have a swing-away two spare carrier on the back (one for the trailer and an extra for the Raider). I have a locking dust/water-tight domed lid. Sorry no pix until I return to the U.S.

Oh yeah, I tent camp. I work under the proposition of getting as far away as possible and being as comfortable as possible when I'm there.
